Jeremy Hance from Mongabay.com wrote an article announcing the publication of Daniel Rolander's biological diary when he spent 7 months cataloguing species in Suriname in the 18th Century. This is the first time the diary will ever be published and it has been receiving high marks from biologists for the author's dedication to science and his great powers of observation. Mongabay.com
